Mental health issues cross all boundaries. Every year, one in four people will experience a mental health problem. Our aim is to enhance the quality of life, self-respect and spiritual growth of anyone from our local community who has been affected by mental health or emotional difficulties

At APCMH, we focus on individuals, not their mental health status. We strive to enable everyone to feel
more active, inspired and valued in
the community, and offer practical support to help people manage their daily lives.

Croydon APCMH is affiliated with the nationwide APCMH, a voluntary organisation that offers mental health support to all. Although founded by the Christian community, we are open to everyone and welcome people from all faiths and backgrounds.

We are currently in the process of reintroducing our weekly drop-in sessions for anyone who's living with, or recovering from, mental distress. They're great places to meet people and enjoy a friendly chat over a cuppa.

All are welcome and no referrals are needed. Our drop-ins are free - but any small voluntary contributions are very welcome to help us continue our work.

Our workshops and groups are great places to meet people and exchange thoughts and ideas.

Our ever-growing programme includes weekly walks, informal spirituality groups and creative writing sessions - with more set to be added soon.

Can you spare a few hours each month to help people with experience of mental health issues?

We're always on the lookout for volunteers to help out at our growing programme of drop-ins, groups and workshops across Croydon.

You'll receive full training and ongoing support.
